pm504
Does anybody have an experience with entering Public Health classes into CASPA, and having your science GPA increase?
smccccc
Some of my classes were public health because I was a public health science major. It really depends on the class as to whether it counts as science or not. Caspa has a list that basically states where certain public health classes should go for instant my health politics class and public health capstone was considered non science while my ecotoxicology and epidemiology was science. So really it depends.
ddiaz4
My epidemiology classes were considered "other science" courses, but the verification on CASPA is still pending and I have yet to see how this will affect GPA. I will get back to you!!! BEST OF LUCK!! I am loving my MPH and hope there is a pleasant side effect of increasing my GPA as well, so I will definitely let you know how it goes!!
