Devildog
If you are, ever been or know of this info. Do you mind sharing what sort of compensation do you get for filling the role as the Lead PA in an EM group? Admin hours? monetary bonus? Time off? Thanks for considering sharing... Moderator EMEDPA Posted February 14, 2011 Moderator Share Posted February 14, 2011 10% above base salary + admin hrs. did it for 2 years. never again. lots of 7 am mtgs after getting off work at 2 am. lots of responsibility with no real power except over the schedule. writing the schedule sucks. you always end up covering lots of holes as the final responsibility for covering all shifts is yours. goldenbodhi
Sounds too much like just a glorified title. I've never heard of "Lead Physician" so why would we want to accept a title that makes us seem more like employees than colleagues.

coloradopa
Our leads get 8% over base salary. Time depends on the unit. Between 8 and 4 hours per week.
