Should I send my GRE scores to schools that don't require it?

I took the GRE recently and sent the scores to all the schools that require it. My question is does it help, hurt, or no benefit for sending scores to the schools that don't require it.

 

if it helps any my stats are

3.65 overall

3.53 science

163 qr

151 vr -that's why I am hesitant of sending it.

I would not send it to schools that don't ask for it. I would say it would be either a money waster for you and make no difference or it would hurt you. IMO, it could tell the committees that you can't follow their instructions and they already receive so much from all of the applicants that you would just be adding to the pile.

I wouldn't send it. They will see it in CASPA anyways, and my guess is that most schools that do not require it will not consider it in admissions.
