mdm1
Is it a good idea to e-mail or call schools if I haven't heard from them since the initial "we got your application" e-mail a few weeks ago? I'm thinking that an inquiry about my application could convey interest and an ability to be proactive, which would be positive. On the other hand, it could convey impatience, like I'm bothering them when I should just wait for them to get in touch with me.
Andreasmo
Does the school do rolling admissions? Do you know when they typically start interviewing? It's still really early in the interviewing game so I wouldn't call yet. Try to find the schools thread on here and see if any current students can let you know when they found out about interviews.
