Looking for ER, urgent care, or the right primary care position. I have about a year and a half of ER experience. Something around Seattle or surrounding cities would be best. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Also, coming from Florida I never needed the DEA license, how does one go about obtaining this? Thanks you!! Administrator rev ronin Posted September 17, 2016 Administrator Share Posted September 17, 2016 DEA is simple, but you'll need your state license first. Took them about a week to process mine. Apply for WA license before you have an employer. You don't need one to start the process and practice agreements are separate. Providence, Multicare, Group Health, Team Health, Peace Health, UW and several contracted emergency medicine groups run UC or EM using PAs. PAs are often in fast-track only roles, however.
