Coast2CoastPAC
Both. Hands down. Find an MD/DO that has PA's and work down the chain. Ortho surgery is big on PA's, same with ED's--esp in university hospitals with residencies. Lots to choose from. I shadowed and worked with mostly MD's and 3 PA's. Febrifuge
Both. Shadow someone in primary care, someone in the hospital, someone in a specialty. Shadow a doc who has PAs in the practice, shadow a PA who flies solo and has a lot of autonomy, shadow an NP. Do that, and you'll have an advantage over most of the people you are applying with, and most of the people talking in the pre-PA sections of the boards.
