winterallsummer
Pretty straightforward question. I am pretty bogged down studying nearly 24/7 with my didactic phase nearing its end. Can someone give me the truth (pretty or ugly), how much less (or more) did you have to study during clinical year? How much (or less) free time did you get? And was life any better or worse? UGoLong
All in all, I found that my clinical year was more like having a job. I had to review before surgeries and look up stuff I had encountered that I didn't know. I also had to study for the end of rotation exam, but that was pretty much during the last week. I thought it was a much easier year than the didactic.
