cloak25 Posted March 14, 2013 I am planning to apply to a few schools that require a minimum of 1000 hours (UC Davis, etc). Should I still go ahead and apply to those programs even if I'm still working towards the 1000 hours? I will have around 600-700 hours by the time I apply this cycle so I was wondering if there is an "in progress" type of thing on CASPA when entering HCE hours? I will definitely have 1000+ hours by the time I matriculate though (if I do get accepted to a program).
Timon Posted March 14, 2013 Best to ask however the people applying are going to have way more than the minimum 1000. In my experience its an automatic rejection just like not completing any of the prerequisites. Ask these programs when you contact them with your question what the average accepted student stats are. Aim to be above those marks as each year gets more competitive. Best of luck to you.
