cbrsmurf Posted February 8, 2013 http://www.capanet.org/Conferences/Controlled-Substances-Education-Course/ *California Code of Regulations Sections: 1399.541(h), 1399.610 and 1399.612. A PA may administer, provide, or issue a drug order for Schedule II through V controlled substances without patient specific approval if the PA completes specified educational requirements and if his/her Supervising Physician delegates the authority to them. Just to clarify, without getting this certificate, I will not be able to write C2-5 Rx's? Currently, I just ask my SP to write for CS's when I need it or I call in C3-5's at the pharmacy without any problems. Any reason I should take this course?
