Super Duper Posted December 17, 2012 Share Posted December 17, 2012 I don't know if you will ever "need" it, but my lab was a lot of fun. You learn some neat stuff in lab about sterile techniques, controlling the spread of microbes, and if nothing else you will start washing your hands like a champ. You will also know some of the lab nerd lingo that might come in handy when talking to the hospital lab folks... but it's probably not too important if your school doesn't require it.
