dimitjm1 Posted December 23, 2012 Share Posted December 23, 2012 PA program rankings in U.S. News and World Report are not based on objective numbers (i.e. PANCE pass rates or job placement rates). These rankings are purely subjective, so the big names tend to rank higher than the little names. I agree that you should go with the program that you feel will best prepare you as a PA, has the highest PANCE pass rates, and "feels right", not necessarily the higher ranked school (esp. in this case where rankings mean nothing except winning the name game). Either way, in the end you will be a PA. I can't say any prospective employer has ever commented - good or bad - on where I obtained by PA degree from.
