jengo
I took a gap year to really strengthen my application and those around me have gotten in their first cycle. I am really anxious as this is my first cycle, can I get some constructive comments regarding my stats and if my chances are ok? My science GPA: 3.6 Overall: 3.8, graduated Cum Laude, president of Pre-PA Society at school, got EMT/MA experience that accumulated 2,500 PCE hours, volunteered for 150 hours, shadowed PAs for 100 hours, and have 4 recs: 2 doctors, 1 PA, and 1 professor. I’m currently planning to apply to 20 schools from various states but majority will be from California since I reside here.
DiggySRNA
You have a pretty solid shot in getting invited for an interview. If you shine during your interview you'd have no issues getting accepted. 20 schools is a lot of chances and super expensive. Good luck though! You got this. 68WEMTto65DPAC
You have great stats. The only concern is applying mostly to California schools since it’s a very competitive state to get in. Lots of people wanting to go schools in Cali.
