daylite2000
Hey everyone, I had an interview recently and I can't stop thinking about the way I approached this question, "What will you do if you aren't accepted into a program this cycle?" I responded "I gave my self three cycles and after that I will reevaluate. But if I don't get accepted this cycle.." and I went into talking about a new job where I get a different patient care experience from what I've been doing now. I'm hung up on how I began this answer (about giving myself a deadline basically); was I too honest? I feel like I should have went straight into my plan if I don't get accepted. Fyi this is my second cycle and first time applying to this specific program.
PAhopeful0123
You can’t beat yourself up for something that’s done. I think honesty is important and someone from an ad-com should understand.
68WEMTto65DPAC
I don't think adcoms expect people to apply perpetually to PA school as if life isn't happening. I think your answer can communicate resilience and commitment to get this done even if it takes longer that expected.
