Losing hope

Hey all, I have currently applied to 8 schools and seeing that people are receiving responses including rejections. I have heard nothing back from any of them and starting to lose hope at this point. 
 

my stats are pretty average 

sGPA 3.6

cGPA 3.25

last 90 credits are a 3.93

back in 2015 I had a horrible year with a 1.0GPA (all random classes no science) 

PCE -2700 hours

no GRE

no Volunteer (doing a medical mission to Honduras for 300 hours in April for next cycle) 

3 great LOR’s

had multiple PA’s and editors check my PS

Im not sure if my bad year in 2015 is causing schools to dismiss me out right. 

just looking for some advice.

No news is good news. The waiting game is definitely a killer when it comes to morale. I waited 7 months for my first interview invite waaay back when I first applied.

Have you thought about taking the GRE to widen your options?

Right!? And I know but it’s getting so late that I feel like I’m just waiting on rejections. I’ve thought about it but I really don’t want to take it. If I don’t get in next cycle I likely will take it.

How do pa school  feel about RN classes?  I am taking a couple and doing general prequestis because some are about to expired. I am continuing to apply in the middle.
