MMI Interview Answer aopinions

In an MMI interview I got the question:

 

It was if one of your close friends that you shared your location with and with other friends came into an OBGYN you were rotating at what would you do? What would you say if the other friend asked about her health after seeing your alls locations?

I said

I’d let my preceptor know I should sit out that visit bc I know her and if she knew I worked there I would ensure her I don’t have access to her records. I’d she didn’t know I knew her I’d ask my preceptor about it and probably would act like I didn’t know her unless she approached me. I would tell the third party I can’t access those records and that would be a violation of her autonomy so maybe she should ask how she’s doing or wait until she says something

 

how bad of an answer was this? I know it kind of breaks hipaa maybe?
