Potential PA student looking for clinical/ shadowing hours in Houston, TX.

I applied to PA schools for the 2024 term and got declined by two so far. I know it is a very competitive field and to up my application for next year, I would like to get some clinical hours. Please help if you can. I am a first generation college student so everything is all so new to me. Thank you in advance for your assistance.
