Frankie C
Hey everyone, My overall science GPA is about a 3.1, and cumulative is 3.2. I'm about to graduate from the University of Central Florida with a major in Health Sciences. I'm considering applying to graduate programs in Public Health. According to the CASPA website, the factor in my grad courses into the application, although they give a separate GPA for these classes. I would plan to work as an EMT during my 2-years while getting my masters, I already have my certification. What are some other ways I can make up for a less than stellar undergrad GPA? mjohnson3604
Depending on the schools you're applying to, it may be as simple as showing an upward trend in your grades. Some schools are definitely more interested in your experience, you as an overall candidate, how well your values match their mission statement. Many have gone before you without stellar GPAs, best wishes!
