prepacna Posted August 7, 2023 I recently received a acceptance. I am obviously going to accept and pay the deposit as I wait to hear back from other schools. Before accepting, want to confirm that it isn't against the rules to pay a deposit and sign an enrollment agreement if I am still waiting to hear back? If I heard back from my top choice and forfeited my seat at the first school I paid a deposit for thats allowed right? On caspa website it says you must notify programs of your enrollments within 5 days and remove yourself from consideration - I interpreted this as enrollment meaning I began classes but want to make sure that interpretation was correct. Anyone who was in a similar position have advice?? Quote
ohiovolffemtp Posted August 9, 2023 Yes, you can do that. However, if you switch to another program you will lose the deposit you made to the 1st program. Quote
