Specifically I’d like to know what courses we as PAs need to do injections, what extra certifications or licenses, and any other pertinent info to get started. Thanks! PA-C Posted August 9, 2023 Share Posted August 9, 2023 No additional certifications or licenses are required - your PA license is sufficient. The best way to become skilled in aesthetic medicine is to work at a derm or plastics practice that provides those services and learn from the other providers you work with. Additionally, such practices can also have their local Allergan, Galderma & other reps set up trainings for you. Once you are comfortable with the anatomy and on-label treatments, you can then seek out additional private trainings with other aesthetic medicine providers you would like to learn from.
