VladC Posted July 4, 2023 Share Posted July 4, 2023 Hi! I'm currently an EM PA working on a long standing personal interest of mine. I'm curious how the Japanese medical system has changed over time, particularly since the utilization of PAs in the US military and the continued presence of US bases in Japan. I haven't found much so far online in regards to if PAs practice in the Japanese public healthcare system, or if there have been any efforts to establish PA licensing/programs in Japan. I wonder if given the history of military PAs on bases and unique challenges in Japanese healthcare if Japan would be a feasible place to try to introduce PAs. If anyone reading has any knowledge on this subject, please chime in! I can read Japanese sources too, if anyone has helpful info. Thanks y'all.
