ottermelon
Hi, Like everyone else, I am in my crisis era. I was just wondering if anyone can give me advice on my chances of getting in: Overall: 3.55 Science: 3.12 Hours: 800 hours (PCT, medical assistant/scribe) Shadowing: 55 hours I decided to retake Anatomy I this summer to increase my grade as well as my medical terminology. I also retook biochemistry to show an increase in letter grades. In addition, I did amazing in my spring semester 2023 but it wasn't accounted for in my science GPA. My science GPA has made me very insecure and I'm afraid that is going to be the reason I don't get interviews. Any words of wisdom?
HHPA25
My science wasn't much higher than yours, and I was accepted. Yes GPA is important, but I think it really boils down to your application as a whole, maybe talk about your dedication to raising your GPA in your PS a little. Show them you can overcome and persevere. Good luck!
