Volunteer Dermatology MA position in San Gabriel Valley

Requirements:
        ⁃       Bilingual Mandarin Chinese and or Cantonese required due to heavy Asian patient population
        ⁃       3-5 day/week commitment
        ⁃       Minimum - 1 year commitment starting August 2023 - June/July 2024 (if matriculated)

Ideally for recent college graduate living local to the San Gabriel Valley, Los Angeles.

Opportunities for hands on clinical exposure and research (if interested, opportunity to publish in medical journals), CV- building leadership activities, letter of recommendation to position yourself to be a strong PA or Med school applicant.

The doctor is affiliated with University of California, Medical School and previously served on admission for college, medical school, residency, and worked for consulting companies to successfully help many pre-med and pre-PAs successfully match into the program of their choice through strategic counseling and CV building/outreach.

Also long term opportunity for future dermatology PA career upon graduation.

Clinical Duties:
        ⁃       operation of phototherapy devices
        ⁃       patient history taking/rooming
        ⁃       Assisting in surgical procedures
        ⁃       Assisting in cosmetic medical procedures
        ⁃       Clinical Research opportunities (not mandatory)
        ⁃       Office task management
        ⁃       Medical scribing
        ⁃       Social media/business development
        ⁃       And much more
