I recently submitted my application last week. Anyone have insight on what timeframe I should hear back? It seems they move quickly

I submitted and heard back in roughly 2 weeks, had my interview two weeks after the initial response, and acceptance within 24 hours of interview.

Huge congratulations on your acceptence! I am also a 2nd cycle applicant with a low GPA.

I have an interview scheduled in September, and I just wanted to ask the best way to prepare - like are there any surprise questions or material you didn't expect. From what I know, it seems to be 15-20 minutes long with an essay. I'm so nervous bc this is my only interview. Any advice would be appreciated! Congrats again!

I prepared by reading some PA interview books, and searching through their website , fb, Instagram , etc. Looking at attrition and PANCE rates and what their mission statement says about the kind of candidate they want. I made sure to ask relevant questions comparing their program to others (example being that they do not have a cadaver lab like other programs do, they also do a mission trip to Belize for 2nd/3rd years). My suggestion would be take the time to know what their program offers and what it doesn't and to be able to discuss that with them - you are interviewing them as well, so ask them as much as you can.

I can't give away much, but there were not really any surprise questions, I gave analogies and life experience examples for each one, and tried to treat it like a conversation rather than just an interview. The essay portion is pretty straightforward and if you can answer the major questions like why you want to go into this profession, you should breeze through it.
