byf8thpber
For context I am deciding between two job offers. 1st job: Primary Care 118k base +14k sign on 2 patients per hour= 15% salary increase =135k (guaranteed first year as a new grad) 2.5 per hour= 25% salary increase =148k 3 per hour=35% salary increase =159k (Self explanatory) 2nd job: Primary Care 122k base +8k sign on RVU structure I need help reviewing 122k base earned through producing 4,231 units annually or 353 units monthly. Each unit will be paid at a base rate of $26/unit. The value of each unit will increase as the number of monthly encounters increases as follows: • < 399 encounters – $26/unit • 400-453 encounters – $26.50/unit • 454-544 encounters – $27.00/unit • > 545 – $27.50/unit Realistically do you know what this will come out to approximately if i hit the 454-544 range? Also I am a new grad so seeing more than 3 patients per hour is pretty unrealistic. Thanks!
exsqueezeme
Hey! Just came across your topic. What did you happen to choose? pros cons? what state? Im in primary care and not sure if RVU may be more beneficial.
