thinkertdm
What are the requirements for using UpToDate for CME requirements? The certificate I just did says in the fine print "PA's may recieve a maximum of 0.5 hours of Category I credut for completing each Internet Point of Care learning cycle". Does that mean each certificate has to be 0.5, or I get 0.5 for each month (no matter how many hours of AMA-PRA I actually have?
PACProvider
You could call NCCPA and ask them. I thought that you received category 1 credit for reading UpToDate articles if the CME feature was enabled by your organization (or you have a subscription). I have many Category 1 CMEs through UpToDate but have not yet submitted any to NCCPA. If there is no charge for submitting and processing CME at NCCPA, I'll try it this weekend. I'll post results back next week if nobody else addresses this beforehand.
thinkertdm
That's what I thought too- just print 'em up and submit them; however, I was reading the fine print on the certificate, and I'm not sure what it means- each "Internet Point of Care learning cycle".
