If CASPA tallies clock hour credit as 0, and you have a letter grade, how does this impact the GPA?

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I'm applying this cycle and wish to include my Surgery Tech program credits on the transcript entry. However, my Surgery Tech program was formatted in "clock hours" because it was a technical school. The program also cannot convert those clock hours to credit hours. This being said, CASPA is only able to accept clock hour credit as "0.00." How does this impact the GPAs if those courses have letter grades? Like, I would enter 0 for the credit hours but the grade was an A, how does this work?

It's unfortunate that this is how it ended up because CASPA permits surgery tech credit as other science and therefore goes towards the sGPA.
