Difficult Director?

hi all,

need help with dealing with a director who disfavors me, for seemingly no reason. I am in my second semester, make good grades (3.7 GPA), and participate in all activities with a good attitude. However, I consistently get very negative feedback on one-on-one interactions and receive the lowest grades in the class for assignments. Its really making me considering quitting. Should I just grow thicker skin? I dont know what her intentions are with doing this or how I can do better. Any advice?

I am confused. If you have a 3.7, how do you have "the lowest grades in the class for assignments?" However that question gets answered, if you are doing well, why are you letting one person's opinion of you derail your dream? 

Yes: grow thicker skin. And also have a mature conversation with the director adult-to-adult and see if you can understand the situation better.
