Emilou
So I just signed on as a the first PA in pediatric general surgery at a hospital, and going through the credentialing process has been a bit of a headache. First, this is my first real job out of PA school, so this whole process is new to me. They’re also redeveloping the department, and since they’ve never had a peds gen surg PA, apparently they have no idea what privileges I should have. Any PAs out there who can help me compile a list? And any tips for a noob??
MidwesternTexan
I've done a LOT of surgery in the past. You basically need the same set of privileges that a PA needs in Adult Gen. Surg. Maybe a few slight modifications? I don't want to go into a list here; Try searching for Gen. Surg. privileges- modify and use that Good Luck, Todd
