andersenpa
Want to send some recognition to one of our esteemed PA colleagues Dave Mittman (of Clinician 1) who won the recent JAAPA Monthyl Challenge to define "What is a PA?" His entry: A PA is a health care professional who practices medicine. The PA is part of a team that includes physicians and other clinicians who work to make sure your health care is of the highest quality. PAs can provide all types of medical care and can be found in all medical specialties. They may practice in any setting, such as an office, clinic, or hospital. PAs are trained to diagnose, treat, and prescribe and have shown they provide high quality, cost-effective care since the profession was introduced almost 50 years ago Great job, Dave!
