Zach_24
Does anyone possibly have a list of schools that require the 3 credit version of medical terminology, as compared to just 1 credit? Thanks!
TheMoYouKnow
Sorry, no list, but out of the programs I am applying to, University of South Florida is the only one that requires 3 credits instead of 1.
WRUPAC56
The USF PA program only requires 1 course in Medical Terminology http://health.usf.edu/medicine/pa/prospective-students/requirements/
TheMoYouKnow
The USF PA program only requires 1 course in Medical Terminology http://health.usf.edu/medicine/pa/prospective-students/requirements/ Correct, but the one course is required to be a 3 credit course. TheMoYouKnow
As a member of the the admissions committee i can assure it is not. Please reread the web site. I have not seen the credit hour requirement on the website, however, in CASPA it states the requirement is 3 hours in Medical Terminology. If this is incorrect, someone may want to update the school's prerequisite section in CASPA.
WRUPAC56
Unfortunately CASPA requires schools to use a credit hour for prerequisites. We cannot change this. Ignore CASPA the USF web site is correct
