I thought I'd post on here to get the opinion of some Montana/northern natives about whether a 4x4 vehicle would be advised for the duration of the program? I currently have a 99' F150 that is 2wd. Is it often that I will need a 4x4 or would my truck with tire chains and some weight in the bed do okay? The first year would be just around Billings, which I feel will be like any other city during winter, but it is the rural rotations that made me start this debate with myself.
