thielen91
What are some thoughts about calling/emailing the school that I applied to about my application and asking some general questions about how many seats are still available? When are the interview dates? etc... Would this be frowned upon by the school?
swooshie1
I would say to go ahead, AFTER checking their website to be sure they've not specified that they DON'T welcome phone calls. Be certain to be polite to whomever you speak to, do not present your questions in a tone that would suggest you feel "entitled" to an interview or acceptance. If the school frowns on this, you probably don't want to go there anyway.
HopefulPA
Should be ok to ask when are the dates for interviews and ask if the invite for interviews have been extended. Be nice and polite. You probably won't even have to give your name.
chiaroscuro27
I don't think these types of questions would be frowned upon. It's all about HOW you ask your questions. Have you given the committee ample time to review your application? If not, I would wait at least two weeks before inquiring about its status. Good luck to you!
