quietmedic
So this PA job agency that I am working with offered me to do drop-in per diem work at a big medical imaging establishment (typical MRI/CT/XR commercial franchise). I assume it will be to start IVs, aid in contrast admin, etc. They say they have a lot of PAs who rotate there as needed. I currently am not working, so I am wondering...who is my supervising doctor? The agency says they cover me under their malpractice...is that true? Is this a typical thing, or is this a risk to my license?
HopefulPA
I thought you were working at a ER ? Good questions to get answered.
Beorp
Even if you were working somewhere else, your SP from your primary job wouldn't have anything to do with supervision for the per diem job, would they?
FfIghter23
Idk what state you live in, but here in TX many PA's and Paramedics work at Imaging Centers and the SP for all is the Head Radiologist on staff, NOT their normal SP at other job.
