grantly7
:wink:To all you Derm PAs out there: What textbooks have you found useful in practice? I am a new grad who was just hired in a Derm office and am wondering what sources you use(d) to improve your skills. The Derm textbooks seem to be quite expensive so if I spend the money I would like it to be on worthwhile resources. Just looking for any advice as I know you would be the ones to ask. Thanks so much for your help!
rcdavis
IMHO, the derm bible is Habif's "Clinical Dermatology." Wonderful poetic vivid descriptions of the dermatology conditions ( look up his comments on cutaneous lava migraines, and you will never forget it, or miss the diagnosis) Also ianonelli's textbook "color atlas of pediatric dermatology" for Peds rashes. Try your best to find some older Peds texts where you will get the best Picts of childhood infectious diseases... Even habit's is weak in that area. davis
