AAPA used to put out this document for new grads that is really helpful. http://www.amazon.com/Program-Practice-Physician-Assistant-Profession/dp/1931992150 I think it might be a CD now. VictoriaO
I posted about this a while back. I only found a few via google that were particularly helpful for new grad CVs, but the one someone posted here is what I used for mine. http://www.physicianassistantforum.com/forums/showthread.php/28056-Helpful-CV-templates-anyone?highlight= For cover letters, I used this basic outline that our program gave us. First paragraph say why you are writing, who told you about the job or how you found the job Next describe why you would be a great addition, your strengths that fit the position, highlights on your CV etc Lastly say why this hospital, community, etc, mention family ties to rural community (if this is the case) Close with the old 'look forward to hearing from you and best wishes" aaaand your done. Google has some pretty good medical cover letters too
