LifeOfBoston
I just finished my freshman year of undergrad and I'm 99% sure I want to be a PA. I know school requirements can be hefty, but I want to know if it's too early for me to start just looking/requesting info to PA schools. Thank you! ohsnapPA
You can find most info just looking into the websites of the PA schools for prerequisites and HCE requirements. It's never too early to request information / setting up possible apt to discuss your candidancy if schools are willing to evaluate you.
SoCalPA
The sooner the better. You need to develop a plan. Consider your GPA, cost of classes, availability of classes, satisfying pre-reqs to get into science classes. Also give some thought to community service options. Diggy
Nope. I started looking at pre-requisites when I was a senior in high school. Now I'm a senior in college with all of my prerequisites completed at the end of this semester (due to early planning).
SoCalPA
Also I ended up with 8 different transcripts because I didn't want to wait around for the science prereqs to be available at my school. I had to seek them out wherever I could take them. Mostly community colleges.
