marktheshark89 Posted April 8, 2015 Share Posted April 8, 2015 Psychiatry is a mandatory rotation completed at yale psychiatric hospital, the VA hospital, CT mental health center, or outpatient locations. I have not heard of silver hills being a site (I am a current student). However if students want to do a rotation at a specific site, that site is evaluated and if approved by the program (mutually with the site), they will send students there. This isn't a guarantee, but they do try and students every year are successful in finding new sites (if they would like to). You can also complete an elective or subI in psychiatry as well.
