WeBuyAndSellJunk
I consistently see contracts placed up here from new grad offers, but I am curious if any of you can give some words of wisdom for the former new grad who is now going to negotiate a contract. What kinds of things are good to show/discuss my improvement, worth, potential, longevity? Anything else you have found to be a good means to obtaining a better contract? Thanks for your help! polarbebe
If your clinical setting measures productivity by patients seen/procedures and your numbers exceed others, bring those numbers to the negotiating table. Recommendations from other physicians that you interact with attesting to your superior knowledge and skills won't hurt. Salary and other data from AAPA, NCCPA and bureau of labor statistics may help. If your state PA organization has local salary data, may also help.
