Guest CaseyRyanClark
Are there any PA shadowing opportunities in southern California? I have applied for a few shadowing opportunities, however majority of these opportunities limit how many times or hours (ie: max of 4 hours) that you can shadow. Personally, I believe that it takes more than one day to get a feel of the profession and field. The more you are exposed to the field and the day to day routines of a PA, the greater understanding you will have of the profession and the demands of this profession. I currently live in the high desert (Victorville), however I am willing to travel throughout southern California to find a Physician Assistant who wouldn't mind mentoring a pre-pa student.
