Long story short: they're both good options. Despite all the drama/hand-waving over which is better, the reality is that NPs and PAs often practice in the same role and there are lots of jobs for both advanced practice providers. Depending on your career interests, specialty of interest, and the market where you wish to practice, it typically makes sense to go one way instead of the other.
