skyblu
I know it doesn't seem like it right now, but some day you'll be able to look back and see that losing out on these jobs opened you up for something better. I was beyond bummed to not get an offer at the big urban teaching hospital I'd always set as my goal. I "settled" for the community hospital instead. Fast forward a few years, and I cannot tell you how happy I am at my job! I get to do everything, not fight with residents for cases, I have respectful MDs who treat me as a valued colleague and not a grunt, AND I make $25K/year more than the teaching hospital pays! My classmate at the big hospital left due to low pay and limited scope, and really wants to come work with me! It all happens for a reason. It's so cliched, but so true. Hang in there. It will get better soon!
