soxbs Posted March 6, 2014 Share Posted March 6, 2014 Hi everyone, I know this would theoretically be better in the Plastic Surgery/Specialties subforum, but there does not seem to be any Plastic Surgery PAs that are on this forum. What is the basic overview of the role of a plastic surgery PA? It's such a highly specialized field for the docs so I'm concerned PAs don't play much of a role. Thanks! rlwpac Posted March 18, 2014 Share Posted March 18, 2014 My role is cosmetic injection and lasers. I am not involved at all with the surgeries. As with any job, your scope will vary depending on many factors. In this field especially, state laws vary as to who can perform what procedures. Luckily the restrictions in FL are to our advantage.
