Tpaul2
I have applied to quite a few schools this past cycle but don't really expect to hear much back from them. My GPA is low (cGPA 3.0, sGPA 3.1, pre-reqGPA 3.3) and I only have around 800 hands-on hours. The rest of my application is pretty strong (1,000+ Volunteering hours, Founder of clubs, Resident Assistant, etc) but I know the GPA and hands on hours get you the interview. I am developing a back-up plan and I see two avenues available to me. Completing an expensive MHS program (28k for three quarters) but taking medical level classes while guaranteeing myself an interview with that program OR retaking undergrad courses. Which route would you guys go? I know retaking undergrad courses would be cheaper but I feel that wouldn't raise my marks too much. On the other hand, the MHS program would guarantee me an interview but at a great cost. Thanks for your time!
