jcapito1
Hello everyone, Is it a bad idea to mention in my personal statement that one of the primary reasons that I have decided to pursue this career is because of the monumental cost and time required to complete medical school/residency? Thank you for your advice!
etopn23
Personally I don't think so. It shouldn't be your deciding factor but the opportunity cost should definitely be a factor to most applicants IMO.

brandell
I was told by a PA that mention of choosing PA over Med school for cost or ease of program would immediately get you axed. It's a competitive program, they want individuals that feel passion for the mid-level provider role.
