TWR
This CP has a history of not honoring professional clinicians practice of 30 days notice. If she terminates you immediately, are you entitled to unemployment or any other recourse?
Timon
I believe you are legally entitled to the pay that is owed for the amount of time remaining with your notice. For example, you put in a 2 week notice, they cut you a check and tell you not to come in for those two weeks in lieu of completing out your shifts during that 2 week notice. In otherwords, you put in a 30 day notice and they let you go that day, they are obligated to pay you otherwise it's an unlawful employment termination. I'm sure this may vary state to state as California (where I'm from) is very pro-employee versus a state like Texas which is very pro-business. My advice is to check your states labor laws.
