Guest MunizPA
Hi I was wondering if someone could post a few of the text books being used in your PA program. In particular, I'd like the names of textbooks for what you think are the most difficult classes. Thanks!

crystaltide
I am also very interested. Like many others, I'm taking time off for HCE before applying, and I would love to get an introduction to the material while I have time before the firehose of information starts in PA school. MCHAD
My best advice for waiting for your program to start: ENJOY YOUR LIFE, THEY OWN YOU ONCE IT STARTS! At most, grab a medical terminology book (search for author Chabner and medical terminology on amazon, less than 10 bucks) and spend an hour or two a week learning that stuff if you don't know it already
lzypanda
you can try some leisure reading with clinical pathophysiology made ridiculously simple - it's not difficult to read at all, as the name implies, but very helpful ;)
Guest MunizPA
If anyone is interested, I found a free podcast under the name "biology 3020 pathophysiology" on itunes; it's pretty good. There's also a recent edition of Katzung's basic and clinical pharmacology on amazon.com for under $6 if you have a kindle (or kindle for ipad/iphone): http://www.amazon.com/Basic-Clinical-Pharmacology-Science-ebook/dp/B002H8ORPC/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&m=AG56TWVU5XWC2&s=digital-text&qid=1292395520&sr=1-
