morpthecat Posted March 14, 2013 Hi, i am a recent new grad who has just completed and passed the pance. I was wondering now that i am finished about how the whole CME process works. I am aware of utilizing conferences and or lectures for hours but was unaware if there were any other beneficial methods one could do in there own time as well. I have seen offers for journal articles or lectures to continue education offered via ipads and was skeptical about that route. I am just curious, any input on how those that are working attain their credits would be greatly appreciated.
maryfran123 Posted March 14, 2013 In hospital presentations that are approved for Cat I credits. If presetation not approved or Cat I can usually list as a Cat II. Don't forget that BLS\CPR, ACLS, PALS, ATLS, FCCS all are good or Cat I CME. doing lectures, presentations, all good for Cat II hours.
