chickitabanana Posted March 6, 2013 Share Posted March 6, 2013 Hi all, Just wondering if anyone used the FCVS service when applying for their first job? Currently, I have applied to jobs in 4 states and think it would be overkill (and expensive!) to apply for a license in each state (especially without a concrete job offer yet). I know some of the hospitals I applied to won't let you start until credentialing is completed which can take 8-10 weeks. Thus, I figured by using FCVS I could make the licensing process go faster (and then credentialing could get done sooner)? Most of my classmates were hired before graduation so I know it's not "necessary" to have a state license to get hired, but am starting to wonder if it's making the difference between "better applicant" that keeps getting hired over me.
