Wbepa
Can anyone give me some advice on how to disinfect my phone without getting it wet? Is a clorox wipe enough and will it ruin the phone if I do it often?
Hoosier1
I work as an EMT and I use the PDI wipes that you find in hospitals. Find the ones with a red or purple top. They have a disinfect contact time of 2 minutes. I have been using these on my iPhone 5 with no bad results. I believe you can also purchase them on Amazon. OpSite
I just carry alcohol wipes to wipe down a couple times/day and don't touch my phone unless my hands are clean.
Wbepa
Thanks! Neither of you have had any damage to the screen? I heard there is some sort of coating that will streak.
JustPassing
Maybe I am way more reckless/irresponsible than you guys, but I always buy a solid case for my phones ( nice one on amazon is ~$20) so I can wipe down with no worries of water damage. Not having to pay for new phone/catching xyz > $20 saved
OpSite
Mine has a screen cover and $6 case. No issues.
