weezianna Posted November 29, 2012 Share Posted November 29, 2012 I have been approached about an IM job that offers a guaranteed salary for one year, and thereafter a production-only salary of 40% of collections. I will of course need to research the fine print, etc. About half of the practice is Medicare, with the remainder more heavily Medicaid than private insurance. It's in a geographic area I enjoy; I've worked for the practice before and, let's say, it's at least a known evil : ) I'm an experienced provider - 15+ years.
